曲の舞台は18世紀、デッサンモデルの女性に恋をしてしまう男の物語 画家である彼にとって最大のタブーはデッサンモデルに恋をすること。 しかし、そんな自分が彼女に恋をしていると気づいてしまいます。 それでも、自分の気持ちを作りものであると押し込めようとする男。そんな彼の感情を、作り物の月である「Paper Moon」に例えた曲となっています。 彼の複雑な恋愛模様を表すように、Aメロは静かに、サビは激しく、といったアップダウンの激しいアレンジをしています。 ぜひ彼の感情を音で感じ取ってみてください！
