楽曲解説
東京で活動している宅録2人組インディーロックバンド、KLEPTOが4ヶ月連続リリース第一弾シングル「The Newest」のMVを6/11に公開。監督はKLEPTOのメンバーであるSJM(Gt,Vo)の実兄、副島正紀が務める。クラシカルなUKロックや00年代ガレージロックリバイバルを彷彿させる楽曲と、2人が秘密基地で創作を楽しんでいる様子を捉えたような内容の映像となっている。 副島正紀： 精神科医、映画監督。精神科医師として臨床に携わる傍ら、様々なアーティストとのミュージックビデオ制作を経て表現を模索。2019年、入江陽主演の長編映画「バンドAと空飛ぶ円盤たち」を自主制作。渋谷UPLINKで上映し、同年に短編映画『ソウル・ミュージック』を制作。MOOSIC LAB2019短編部門にて準グランプリ、男優賞、ミュージシャン賞を獲得。福岡インディペンデントフィルムフェスティバル入選。 同作品は東京での上映を終え、博多、神戸、大阪、新潟、広島など全国に公開が広がる。また国際交流基金による「Japanese Film Festival Online」にてアジア・パシフィック地域を中心とした世界 14か国でも多言語で公開された。
