『Same sky』は、同じ空を見上げながらも会うことのできない切なさを描いた楽曲です。 この曲を書いたきっかけは、テレビで見た災害地や戦地の映像でした。 そこには悲しみや不条理があるのに、空は驚くほど青く、美しく晴れ渡っている。 その光景に、人間の現実と自然の美しさとの大きな矛盾、そして言葉にできない切なさを感じました。 そんな感情を、「君に会いたい」という形に重ねて表現しています。 同じ空の下で生きているのに、人は簡単には分かり合えない。 会いたい人にも、すぐには会えない。 それでも空だけは、今日も変わらずつながっている。 苦しさや孤独、不条理を感じながらも、いつか晴れ渡る空のように前を向ける日が来ると信じたい。 この曲には、そんな小さな希望を込めました。 派手な言葉ではなく、日常の中にある感情を丁寧に描きながら、聴く人それぞれの記憶や人生に重なるような楽曲を目指しています。 “Under the Same Sky” is a song about the bittersweet feeling of looking up at the same sky while being unable to meet someone you long for. The inspiration for this song came from images of disaster areas and war zones that I saw on television. Even in places filled with sorrow and injustice, the sky remained astonishingly blue and beautifully clear. That contrast made me feel the profound contradiction between the harsh reality of human life and the beauty of nature, along with a sadness that could hardly be expressed in words. I chose to express those emotions through the simple feeling of wanting to see someone dear. Even though we all live under the same sky, people cannot easily understand one another. We cannot always be with the people we want to see. And yet, the sky continues to connect us, unchanged, day after day. Despite feelings of pain, loneliness, and injustice, I want to believe that one day we can look forward again, just like the clear sky after a storm. This song carries that small but sincere hope.
