東北大学生まれた、仙台拠点のバンドです。 日本と海外のオルタナティブ要素を実験的に融合させたサウンドを特徴としており、日本人2人とアメリカ人1人の、3人の異なるボーカリストが在籍しています。 それぞれが異なる作詞・作曲スタイルを持ちながらも、音楽全体としては間違いなく「巨大学星」の世界観を体現しています。さらに、ドラマーによる繊細かつ緻密なリズムパターンや圧巻のフィルインも大きな魅力のひとつです。
