アーティスト情報
幼少期をロンドンで、学生時代は日本で過ごした、新時代を生き抜くシンガーソングライター、ray.(光)[読み：レイ ヒカリ]。2023年4月5日(水)に1st Album「Boomerang」を発売。 ジャンル分け不可能な音楽に乗せ、画一化された現代社会に訴えかけるように力強くも繊細な感性で人々が他人に貼りがちなラベルの外にある「自由」を歌う。ノンバイナリージェンダーである自覚は若き日に苦悩をもたらし自由の国アメリカに単身渡米、名門音楽大学へ進学。 そこで根強い差別、突きつけられた現実のなか自身のもう１つのアイデンティティである「音楽」で社会が抱える問題を訴えていくことができないかと強い思いを抱く。 日本語と英語をどちらも深い感情のレベルまで昇華させ、J-POPでも洋楽でもなく新しい感覚の音楽を発信している。
