“Threshold” by Yuko Nakamura ────────────── 台湾の音楽プラットフォーム「StreetVoice」にて、編集部推薦曲（Editor’s Pick）に選出されました。 日々の経験の中で新たな視点を得ながら、少しずつ変化し続けていく。その過程で生まれる小さな気づきや選択の積み重ねが、やがて大きな変化へとつながっていく。 その先には、以前とは違う景色が広がる。 「Threshold」というタイトルは、その境目を越えた瞬間に生まれる感覚を表しています。大きく姿を変えるのではなく、ほんの少しだけ、しかし確実に何かが変わったと感じる瞬間。変化への一歩を踏み出すまでの揺らぎと、その先に広がる新たな景色を描いています。 モダンジャズの普遍的な形式を基盤に、ソロでは演奏者それぞれが自由に表現できるよう、シンプルな構造で作曲しています。変わらない軸の上で、その瞬間に生まれる音が重なり、変化していく。そんな時間の流れを描いた作品です。 ────────────── Selected as an Editor’s Pick by StreetVoice, a music platform based in Taiwan. As we gain new perspectives through our daily experiences, we continue to change, little by little. The accumulation of small realizations and choices that arise during this process eventually leads to significant change. Beyond that lies a landscape unlike anything we’ve seen before. The title “Threshold” represents the sensation that arises the moment we cross that boundary. It’s the moment when we sense that something has changed—not drastically, but just a little, yet undeniably. It depicts the hesitation before taking that first step toward change and the new landscape that unfolds beyond it. Based on the universal forms of modern jazz, the composition features a simple structure that allows each performer to express themselves freely during their solos. On a constant foundation, the sounds born in that moment overlap and evolve.
